The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is federally funded by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).
Mission
WIC’s mission is to give the most vulnerable participants to better their nutritional choices by providing nutrition education and consultation, and healthy food during the critical stages of development to achieve optimal nutritional status.
