Mission
The purpose of Santo Domingo Family Services is to provide a wide range of family-oriented services to promote healthy families, as well as promoting safety and wellness for all Santo Domingo children and families.
Services
The Programs provide direct services to children, families, and individuals who are determined to be in need.
The services included are:
- Child Welfare
- Child protection
- Adult protection
- Crisis response to child abuse & neglect
- Joint investigations with BIA Law Enforcement
- Home studies
- Kinship placements
- Culturally relevant case management
- Information, referrals, general assistance
- Application assistance for SNAP, LIHEAP, and Medicaid.
Additionally, direct services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, family violence, stalking, sexual assault, teen dating violence services include crisis response, shelter placement, transportation for medical, court, advocacy, protection orders, emotional support and supportive services.
The programs also provide prevention activities and educational awareness on child abuse & neglect, domestic violence, healthy relationships, internet safety, self-care, etc.
