Santo Domingo Planning Department:

The Santo Domingo Planning Department works on projects that affect the entire community. The Planning Department develops and updates comprehensive and topic-specific plans for the Tribe, compiles information relevant to planning, encourages public involvement in the processes necessary for planning, and supports tribal departments in their planning and project management needs. Projects in 2015 for the Planning Department include the Phase II renovation of the historic Trading Post, building a trail from the San Mateo overpass to the Kewa Rail Runner station, development of a Long-range Transportation Plan, procurement of a new refuge truck, roads improvements on Tesuque and Isleta streets, development of a Community Master Plan, and engaging the community in a co-ed intramural softball tournament at the new ball fields in the Domingo neighborhood.
